Moveas GmbH in Arnstadt has updated its fleet with 14 Setra Low Entry vehicles, including its 55th Setra. The S 415 LE business inter-city buses are used on local public transport routes throughout the Ilm district, which encompasses the areas of the cities of Arnstadt and Ilmenau. Two of the buses have space for 45 passengers, while twelve vehicles in the 39-seater variant have enough space for wheelchairs, strollers and bicycles. Moveas GmbH, formerly RBA Regionalbus Arnstadt, is the largest private company for local road-based public transportation in Thuringia. Founded in 1999, the family business has been a partner of Setra since then.

Regiobus Mittelsachsen GmbH is expanding its fleet with five Setra Low Entry vehicles. Each S 418 LE business model is equipped with 55 seats. The Mittweida-based company opted for the 14.6 meter long three-axle vehicles in order to be able to provide more seating capacity, especially for schoolchildren. The Setra buses – equipped with Cornering Assist, driver protection screens and video surveillance – are also the first vehicles in the federal state of Saxony to be equipped with a third exit. The new rear-end doors ensure unhindered passenger flow. With the new inter-city buses, the Saxon company now operates 235 vehicles on regional routes. More than 460 employees work at its five depots.
