09 February 2023

First launched in 1993, Vigor is a wool rich moquette that has remained one of Camira’s bestselling fabrics for three decades. To celebrate its continued popularity, the global textile manufacturer has given the range a new lease of life with the reintroduction of 31 designs from the Vigor archives.

Featuring an array of iconic patterns, from graffiti-style and kaleidoscopic through to galactic and geometric, the newly expanded collection is available in a versatile colour palette of navy, black, grey, and burgundy. Ciara Crossan, Head of Creative – Transport at Camira, comments on the rejuvenation of this much loved fabric. “Part of our portfolio for thirty years, Vigor is one of our most popular and enduring textiles. A fabric that is known and loved across the globe, it has such a rich history and, during that time, has seen some truly brilliant designs become part of its range. So, it felt only right that to mark three decades of Vigor, we looked back through the archives and reintroduced some of its most iconic designs from the nineties and noughties. We know customers will be as excited as we are to see them brought back to be used and loved by operators and passengers once again.” Today, Camira sells around 8 million metres of fabrics annually and in over 75 countries globally. The company was founded in 1974 under the name Camborne Fabrics.
