Even before the official presentation of the new A series, Van Hool noted 13 orders in the order book for a total of 162 buses. The new A12, with a battery-electric drive, is presented in Paris during the European Mobility Expo, the international trade fair for public transport. The introduction of the new A series is long awaited. Filip van Hool, CEO, says: “The new ebuses are build on the knowledge and experience gained over the years in developing eco-friendly buses for public urban and regional transport.” The new A-series will become available in 4 lengths (12m, 13m, 18m and 24m) with 2 to 5 passenger doors. Van Hool has some 3,500 employees worldwide, who mainly work at the production facilities in Koningshooikt (Belgium) and Skopje (North Macedonia).
