The 20th edition of the Busworld Vehicle Awards (formerly known as ECW), will add a new category to its competition: Intercity. Next to a 'Grand Award Bus' and a 'Grand Award Coach', the jury will also choose a 'Grand Award Intercity'. If there are enough participants of course.
In previous competitions, the jury noticed that intercity coaches had to compete with full option tourism coaches. Meaning they could never win. Since this category became more and more important, the decision was taken to create a third category.
The vehicle manufacturers have all received an invitation to participate, so... wait and see which vehicles enter the competition this time. We will keep you posted!
